Educated at NYU, I have over 20 years of experience treating individuals and couples. Stress, anxiety, depression, work and relationship issues are problems that affect most people at some point during their lives, and all good reasons to talk with a trained professional. My expertise also includes insomnia, panic disorder, binge eating, self-esteem issues, dating and marriage, parenting, blended families, job or school problems, trauma and recovery, loss and bereavement, artistic blocks, and break-ups. Additionally, I have worked extensively with people with medical and neurological illnesses as well as their caregivers and family members.
I have post-graduate training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, mindfulness meditation, and non-pharmacological treatment of insomnia. I am a parent, step-parent, and grandparent.
During your consultation, we'll discuss reasons you're considering psychotherapy or coaching, and if we decide to work together, set up a schedule to meet regularly. If medication seems an appropriate adjunct at any point, I have a network of qualified pharmacologists to whom I can refer you.
I encourage you to contact me to arrange a consultation, and I look forward to seeing how I can help you.
